The first time I saw Changes - Tribute To David Bowie, I was about 18. Atlanta was the place, and Cream was the band. It was a night smokin' and a bit hard to remember. San Francisco in 1970 was jumping, and so was Blind Faith. Clapton was coming back around 73 or 74 from his resting period. He played Legion Field. It was great, though he was a bit timid. The Journeyman Tour was incredible. He had taken back his place in music history. I've seen him twice since then, and I must say Clapton has settled into his place in musical history. His voice is smooth and clear as ever, delivering perfection with every lick. He was smooth and clean. He is truly a favorite of young and old alike. I hope I get to hear him a few more times before our time runs out.
